With each session, we assess for areas of restriction in spinal joints, extremities and energy flow. We use specific and gentle forces to return the spine and extremities to proper alignment. This reduces nerve interference and assists in better communication between the brain and the body while helping to restore the proper flow of energy. Each adjustment is specific to the individual and every patient’s experience is unique.

Let’s talk Functional Movement

The Functional Movement Screen is a reliable testing method used to analyze mobility and stability. The FMS utilizes seven basic movement patterns. This allows us to identify limitations and dysfunctions that can increase the likelihood of injury. The FMS is helpful for both our athletes and weekend warriors looking to improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury. This screening is also helpful for those who are interested in becoming more active and looking for exercises to create more muscular balance and strength.

The FMS Screen is a thirty-minute appointment which includes a brief consultation to review the patient’s goals. Based on the results of the FMS, we will develop an individualized program of functional exercises which will be reviewed at a follow up appointment. There will be an additional follow-up appointment four to six weeks after to re-evaluate progress and ensure the best results.

Integrative Health Coaching takes a holistic and functional approach to gaining a better understanding of the root cause of potential imbalances in the body. Our bodies are constantly exposed to different stressors and toxins that can result in dysfunction. These imbalances are often expressed as a variety of unpleasant symptoms including digestive issues, low energy, hormonal imbalances, weight gain, anxiety, poor sleep and a lowered immune system. The aim of Integrative Health Coaching is to help teach you how to rebalance your body and provide health education and empowerment.

Through our one-on one coaching sessions (offered in-person and virtually), we create a tailored plan that fits your unique needs.
